About Hatch

Built to see what others can't.

Hatch builds tools for organizations that want to understand how leadership risk is forming before it becomes visible in their results.

The Origin

We didn't start with a product. We started with a pattern.

Across hundreds of leadership engagements, the same dynamic kept appearing. Organizations with strong leaders, healthy cultures, and solid execution were still running into the same structural problems — slowdowns they couldn't explain, over-reliance they hadn't designed, and burnout that arrived without warning.

The issue was never the leaders. It was the system around them.

Decision-making was concentrating. Certain people were absorbing more than their share of the organizational load — not because they were failing, but because they were succeeding. And the more effective they became, the more the company leaned on them.

No existing tool was built to measure that. Leadership assessments described individual capability. Performance systems tracked outcomes. Engagement surveys captured how people felt. None of them showed how decisions were flowing, where load was accumulating, or what the system was heading toward.

That gap is what Hatch was built to close.

Our Position

Leadership Risk Intelligence™ is a new category.

Not an assessment. Not a coaching tool. Not a performance platform.

LRI is a forecasting system. It measures how leadership capability interacts with organizational demand over time — and uses that interaction to show where the company is heading before anyone else can see it.

The question it answers is not how did your leaders do. It is where is your company going.

Foresight — not reporting.

Structure — not personality.

Trajectory — not snapshot.

Our Principles

What we believe about leadership and organizations.

01

Risk forms before it's visible

By the time leadership risk appears in results, it has already been building for months. The only way to address it is to see it early — while there is still time to change direction.

02

Structure shapes behavior

Most leadership problems are not people problems. They are structural problems. How decisions flow, where load accumulates, and how dependency forms are all functions of system design — not individual character.

03

Strength creates exposure

The leaders most likely to become bottlenecks are not the weakest ones. They are the strongest. Their effectiveness is exactly what causes the company to route more decisions through them over time.

04

Measurement must precede action

You cannot redistribute what you cannot see. The first step in addressing leadership risk is making it measurable — quantified, comparable, and trackable over time.

Where We Operate

Built for organizations where the stakes are high.

LRI is deployed with leadership teams where the cost of getting structure wrong is significant — federal agencies, large enterprises, and organizations navigating growth, transition, or complexity at scale.

Currently deployed with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs across large federal leadership teams, with assessments completed across more than 400 leaders.
